Ciel at Aisle 5

WetWare presents…

Ciel (live)

9pm / All Ages / $25

Cindy Li, better known as Ciel, has steadily ascended over the past decade to become one of the best-respected producers and DJs of the international underground. Since throwing her first party in 2015 and putting out her stellar debut EP, Electrical Encounters, on Peach Discs two years later, the Xi’an, China-born and Toronto, Canada-based Ciel has blazed a path as one of the hardest-working and most innovative artists in electronic music. Admirably, her commitment to her craft is matched by her devotion to nurturing and uplifting her local scene through ventures such as Parallel Minds, the Toronto-based label she co-founded with Daniel 58. Year on year, Ciel has leveled up as a producer, DJ and live performer, attracting plaudits and increasingly rewarding opportunities along the way and developing a rich catalog of solo and collaborative work testament to her talent and ingenuity.

Galcher Lustwerk at Aisle 5

WetWare presents…

Galcher Lustwerk

8pm / All Ages / $25

Already classic, Galcher Lustwerk is a complete, unique vibe. The New York-based producer, DJ, and vocalist ignited a fervent and instant fanbase in 2013 with his mix of all original material, “100% Galcher”. Its sexy blend of azure deep house productions and analgesic rap murmurs spawned many imitators, but as Pitchfork noted in their “Best Reissue” review, Lustwerk created, “a style that didn’t sound like anything else in dance music – not then, not before, not since.” That’s why he’s been in demand ever since, signing to Ghostly International and touring around the world. Regular stops include the most prestigious clubs and festivals, both underground (Panorama Bar, Sustain Release) and more mainstream (Ministry of Sound, Splash House) – testament to a sound both beloved and accessible. Whether performing a normal DJ set or mixing all originals with live vocals, Galcher presents music as essential as a heartbeat: sensual, timeless, and utterly original.

Purelink at Aisle 5

WetWare & Volta Lab present…

Purelink

$25 / 8pm / All Ages

Purelink are more than the sum of their parts - formed in 2020, the trio (consisting of Millia, kindtree, & Concave Reflection) has amassed a loving fanbase worldwide for their fusion of influences - from the rhythmic depth & detailed sound design of speaker-knocking contemporary bass music, the enveloping sub bass, sway of dub, & the classic chillout IDM styles of aqueous swirls & textural ambient scapes.

Bringing in a distinctly modern flair with innovative groove programming to their recordings & live performances, their music touches upon the effervescent emotional realms & limitless technological potential of Mille Plateaux Y2K-era experimental ambient styles - one eye towards the past & one on the future, yet lucidly present for the catharsis of poignant dancefloor moments or an evening of heads-down introspective electronic journeying.

Honing in on their sound in a shared space in their hometown of Chicago, the trio relocated to Brooklyn. As recent additions to the Lot Radio residency roster, they are cementing their place in one of North America’s most exciting spheres of electronic music.

Already garnering praise for their concise discography since 2021’s acclaimed Bliss/Swivel EP, their most recent 2023 album Signs, on the legendary Peak Oil imprint, has catapulted them into the hearts and minds of even more fans the world over, an already future classic album with rave reviews and appearances on numerous year-end lists (Pitchfork, Resident Advisor, FADER, Crack Magazine, and more).

Purelink return to Peak Oil for their next full length release Faith out June 6th. With vocal features from Loraine James and a spoken word contribution from Angelina Nonaj, the new project offers a fresh take on their acclaimed signature sound. Coverage includes the April Crack Magazine cover story, plus additional forthcoming interviews with Pitchfork, Abelton, DJ Mag, and more.

Racking up numerous gig appearances with fellow innovators Huerco S, Tirzah, Loraine James, & DEBONAIR in addition to memorable sets at Sustain-Release, Purelink have honed in their improvisational/engaging live & DJ sets to bring around the world - always evolving and orbiting their unique and heartwarming core.

Jacques Greene at Aisle 5

WetWare presents…

Jacques Greene

$30 / Doors at 9pm / All Ages

Jacques Greene has been making music about the club for over a decade. Across multiple EPs, singles, and two acclaimed full-length albums, Feel Infinite (2017) and Dawn Chorus (2019) his sound has evolved into an emotional, atmospheric haze that balances intimacy with physicality. In 2020, he released ANTH01, a collection of unearthed early works and previously unreleased tracks that traced the foundations of his musical language.

Alongside his solo work, Greene is one half of Verses GT, a fully realized collaboration with Nosaj Thing that exists as the group, the album, the live show, and the visual world surrounding it. Built through in-person sessions across London, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Paris, and Montreal, Verses GT is a heavyweight, intentional body of work rooted in human connection, shared headspace, and distilled emotion, featuring contributions from George Riley, Kučka, and TYSON.

Greene also hosts a monthly residency on Rinse FM, now running for over three years, where he explores deep club music, new material, and long-form mood-driven selections. Beyond his own releases, he has collaborated with Bonobo, remixed Radiohead, produced for Jessy Lanza, arlo parks, Tinashe, and toured internationally with The xx, continually refining a sound that is both deeply personal and built for collective experience.
